COIRON GUEST HOUSE
Ten years ago in Puerto Williams, there were no lodgings for travelers. Many visitors found accommodations only as guests with a few private families. To better serve the traveler, we acquired in 1998 a centrally located plot of land and renovated a house specifically suited to the needs of our guests. Thus the first backpacker hostel emerged south of the Beagle Canal. Many trekkers have enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of our open fireplace, and have used the abundance of information gained by prior visitors to assist them as they embark on their own personal adventure.
Over time, we have been able to refine our offerings to better suit the needs of our guests. Today our COIRON has five guest rooms, accommodating up to ten guests, and offers B&B service for our visitors.
Our guest house is the first stop for those coming to experience the spectacular Cape Horn region. Our facility has become a well known center for adventurers as they embark on their experiences in the Cape Horn region. All activities and information available throughout the island, as well as the plans and activities of our own firm, are displayed at the guest house.
You are warmly welcome.
