We round the legendary Cape Horn

The true baptism of all navigators!
During our sailing voyage to Cape Horn we will be offered a glimpse of how life must have been for Tierra del Fuego’s original inhabitants, the Yagan Indians.
When rounding the infamous Cape Horn, our first celebratory drink will be offered to Neptune, pausing to reflect on the sailors that have sacrificed their lives to these tormented waters.
We are awed by the contrasts of the Cordillera Darwin.
Torn by glaciers that tumble down from the summits through the evergreen forests and plunge into the sea, the Cordillera Darwin is a spectacular wonderland of mountains, sea and ice. Immerse yourself in the canals of Tierra del Fuego which for 7,000 years was the homeland of the Yagan Indians.
Follow ancient canoe routes past traditional camp sites. Search for new paths, explore ice filled fiords or hike into the base of the glaciers.
We discover the eternal ice of the South Polar Sea.
We sail over the horizon to Antarctica, the mysterious White Continent. Whales, seals and penguins welcome us.
Antarctica is a ice paradise where life is bursting, waiting to surprise us.!
Trekking and mountain-climbing
White spots on the maps. Mountains without names. Discover new trails along the beaver dams, through the forests or towards the frozen summit, accompanied by colibris and condors. Choose between hiking, climbing and ice touring in differing degrees of difficulty.
Sea Kayak
The Yaghan people used kayaks 7,000 years ago for traveling in their environment.
Try to follow them on these traditional routes. Prepare to paddle into dark canals between silent forests, and the invigorating cold squalls off the glaciers. Overnight at well known campsites, used since primeval times.

Centrally located in Puerto Williams, our guests house “Coiron“, with its friendly atmosphere and comfortable ambiance, can provide short or long term lodging. Up to 10 travelers find cozy lodging in 5 double rooms, and can relax around our fireplace. All information for one’s own enterprise or undertaking is available here, from other travelers and prior visitors.
